How to Read Your Bill

How To Read Your Bill

We know what our electric meter looks like; the glass enclosed round device that records how much electricity we use in our homes and businesses. Your electric meter measures the electricity that flows through the meter when you flip on a light switch, run an irrigation pump or anything in between.

Each month CVE either remotely reads or physically reads your electric meter and that information is used to create your monthly bill. When your monthly electric bill arrives you probably look for how much you owe without looking at the other information provided. Your monthly electric bill tells you much more than what your electricity costs. It shows when your meter was read and how much electricity you used.

Pay Your Bill:

CVE accepts cash, check, money order, or credit cards (Master Card, Visa or Discover). Credit cards are only accepted for the payment of residential accounts. There are several ways in which you can pay your bill.
